    ORIENTATION AND INDUCTION COURSE

The Orientation and Induction Course is the first major programme in the NYSC year. It lasts three weeks and is esigned to prepare corps members for the service year. During the three weeks, corps members deployed to a state are camped in the state’s orientation camp. The Ogun State NYSC orientation camp is located at the Former Methodist Teachers Training Centre, Sagamu.

The orientation course involves early morning meditations, physical education parades, drills, lectures, Man ‘O’ War activities, drama, dance, sports, competitions and an endurance trek among other activities.

The administration of the camp is the joint responsibility of the NYSC officials, the Military, the Man ‘O’ War, the Police, the Red Cross and Corps members.

The overall administrator of the Ogun NYSC orientation camp is the State Co-ordinator, Mrs Keziah N. Okonofua.
