    PRIMARY ASSIGNMENT

This is the major task for corps members after the orientation course for the rest of the service year.

Corps members are posted to various work places – schools, banks, ministries, companies, etc. – for their primary assignment. Corps members are bound by the rules and regulations of their places of primary assignment. At the same time corps members are bound by all NYSC rules and regulations.

For my primary assignment I was posted to SouthWest Resource, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

I worked at the Helpdesk section in Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. Our task at Helpdesk includes the installation, networking, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer systems in Governor's Office.

I learn't a lot and gained valuable experience in the 11 month period I worked at SouthWest Resource Centre.
